      "China-New York State Enterprises' One-to-one Fair" held in Beijing

On Sep. 19th, State-Guest Entrepreneurs' Club of CIIC Group held "China-New York State Enterprises' One-to-one Fair" in Grand Hyatt Beijing. There were business negotiations between over 10 enterprises from US New York State and 30 domestic ones.

U.S. enterprises were from energy sources, environmental protection and biopharmaceutical fields, which consisted of large enterprises with annual sales volume of 10 billion yuan as well as some small and medium -sized ones. They aimed at finding investment opportunities and cooperating partners, and developing China's market. Domestic enterprises were from cities such as Beijing, Tianjin and Dalian, responding positively towards the fair organized by State-Guest Entrepreneurs' Club.


Warm atmosphere of the fair

In a warm atmosphere of the fair, enterprises from US and China communicated effectively on related cooperation, and many reached initial cooperating intentions. Delegates present affirmed the manner of "one-to-one" negotiation, and hoped that State-Guest Entrepreneurs' Club could provide more "face-to-face" cooperating opportunities. Liu Qun, general manager of State-Guest Entrepreneurs' Club, expressed that State-Guest Entrepreneurs' Club would provide excellent follow-up services so that enterprises from both US and China could find satisfactory cooperating partners. In the future, State-Guest Entrepreneurs' Club will organize more and more international business communications to promote enterprises' development in accordance to requirements from enterprises home and aboard.

The delegation of New York enterprises visited China led by Governor George Pataki. On the evening of Sep. 19th, US Embassy-China held a reception to welcome Pataki and New York enterprises' delegation. There gathered Hu Deping and Sun Xiaohua, vice chairmen of All China Federation of Industry & Commerce, leaders from Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the P.R.C. and Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), as well as Wang Tianyi and Liuqun, president and vice president of CIIC Group upon invitation. At the reception, Wang Tianyi and Liu Qun communicated warmly with distinguished guests from US and China. Liu Qun introduced related situations of organizing the fair to Governor Pataki and officials of US Embassy. Pataki expressed that US enterprises were very satisfied with the arrangement and showed appreciation to State-Guest Entrepreneurs' Club.Commercial officials of US Embassy delivered the intention to cooperate further with State-Guest Entrepreneurs' Club on communications between US and China enterprises. During the conversation, president Wang Tianyi and vice president Liu Qun took photos with Governor Pataki, ambassador Randt, and minister David S.Sedney respectively.


Vice chairman of All China Federation of Industry & Commerce Hu Deping meets with Governor Pataki in State Guest Hotel

On Sep. 20th, accompanied by president Wang Tianyi and vice president Liu Qun, vice chairman of All China Federation of Industry & Commerce Hu Deping met with Governor Pataki in State Guest Hotel, and introduced Beijing International Information Park located at Huilongguan County, Changping District. Both parties discussed further on strengthening communications between US and China enterprises.

At present, Beijing International Information Park Co. Ltd. (BIIP) of CIIC Group is building Beijing International Information Park in Changping District. Organized by BIIP, State-Guest Entrepreneurs' Club serves as a membership club to promote enterprises' communication and international cooperation. Vice president Liu Qun expressed that State-Guest Entrepreneurs' Club not only created a cooperating platform for enterprises home and aboard but also played an important role in international business inviting of Beijing International Information Park and even Changping District.
