信息产业发展高峰会暨首届海南信息产业发展论坛
简 要 介 绍
由中国国际贸易促进委员会、海南省人民政府主办，国家发展计划委员会、国家经济贸易委员会、信息产业部、科技部、中国国际公共关系协会协办，北京国际信息园、海口光电国际信息园承办的"信息产业发展高峰会暨首届海南信息产业发展论坛"于2003年3月27日至28日在海南省海口市举行。
人民日报（主版）、人民日报（海外版）、新华每日电讯、经济日报、经济参考报、科技日报、中华工商时报、国际商报、中国电子报、北京青年报、计算机世界等11家全国性有影响的报纸媒体已经对本次峰会做了专题宣传，会议期间随行报道会议的进展情况，同时对500强企业、著名跨国及国内企业的领导人、参会代表、会议的主要发言人做专题访问。
有关国家领导人及国家计委、信息产业部、国家经贸委、海南省政府、中国国际贸易促进委员会的领导，部分"7+1"工业化国家及亚洲四小龙国家驻华使领馆的大使、参赞以及戴尔计算机公司（中国）、爱普生（中国）有限公司、美国AT&T公司
、美国HOK公司 、韩国SK电讯、韩国亚太投资财团等一批世界500强企业和中国知名企业到会。
会议就"中国信息产业发展及国际合作的前景"、"跨国企业如何利用中国市场对发展信息产业的优惠政"、"跨国企业与中国信息企业的广泛合作"、"海南'信息智能岛'建设规划"、"国际市场与地区性信息产业的规划"以及"跨国企业如何利用中国市场信息化提高企业竞争力"等主题进行研讨。
此次会议还为跨国企业与中国企业对接，寻找投资机会和合作伙伴；在中国海南省建立研发中心和培训中心；以及为与会者相互了解、建立往来提供平台。
此次论坛从社会发展、产业发展以及企业发展的角度，对加速发展信息产业，以信息化带动工业化促进社会发展，加快信息化向国民经济和社会各领域的渗透，对中国以及区域信息产业的发展将起到有益的推动作用。

Introduction
Information Industry Development Summit & the 1st Hainan Information
Industry Development Forum, sponsored by China International Trade Promotion
Commission and Hainan Province People's Government, cosponsored by State
Development Planning Commission, State Economic and Trade Commission，Ministry
of Information Industry, Ministry of Science and Technology, China International
Relations Association, undertaken by Beijing International Information
Park and Haikou Photo-electricity International Information Park,China
International Industry & Commerce Co., Ltd and supported by the
Ministry of Information Industry, was held in Haikou city of Hainan
province on March 27 and 28, 2003.
Eleven national news agencies - People's Daily (key plate), People's
Daily (overseas edition), Xinhua Daily Telecommunication, Economic Daily,
Economic Information Daily, Science and Technology Daily, China Industry
& Commerce Times, International Business Daily, China Electronic
News, Beijing Youth, Computer World - conducted special promotion for
this forum, and gave report about the progress of the forum along its
process, and conducted interview with leaders of the world top 500 IT
enterprises, multinational and domestic companies, participating company
representatives, major speakers of the forum.
State leaders, high officials from the State Planning Commission, Ministry
of Information Industry, State Economic and Trade Commission, Hainan
Province People's Government, China International Trade Promotion Commission,
and the ambassadors and counselors from part of the "7+1"
industrialized countries and the Four Asian Tigers, world top 500 enterprises
such as Dell (China), Epson (China), AT&T, HOK, SK of Korea, Asia
Pacific Investment Group of Korea, and famous Chinese enterprises attended
the forum.
The forum focused on the topics as "The Development of Chinese
Information Industry and Prospect of International Cooperation",
"How Will International Companies Make Use of the Favorable Polices
in the Development of Information Industry of Chinese Market",
"Cooperation between International Companies and Chinese IT Enterprises",
"Construction Planning of Hainan 'Information Intellectual Island'",
"Planning of International Market and Local Information Industry"
and "How Can International Companies Take the Advantage of the
Improvement of Chinese Information Market", etc.
The forum also seeked for connection with Chinese and foreign enterprises
as well as investment opportunities and partners in China, setting up
R&D center and training center in Hainan province, and providing
platform for the mutual understanding and exchanges among participators.
The forum was of great importance in accelerating the development of
information industry, improving the social development pushed by information
industry, enhancing the influence of the information industry over national
economy and various fields of the society, and the development of the
local information industry of China from the angle of the development
of society, industry and enterprises.
