"Safety Security and Evaluation Symposium of Information System"
kicks off at Presidential Plaza Hotel Beijing on June 27

 

On June 27, 2004, the "Safety Security and Evaluation Symposium of Information System" of China Information Safety Forum, guided by Informationization Administration Office under the State Council, sponsored by Evaluation and Identification Center for Information Safety Products of China and organized by Beijing Yinchangcheng Information Technology Co., Ltd, was held at the Presidential Plaza Hotel Beijing.

More than 300 persons, including authorities with information administration offices under the State Council and each ministries and commissions, experts and scholars, executives of enterprises and journalists from the media, have attended the event. The symposium carried in-depth studies, opinion exchanges and discussions on information safety-related problems, such as the establishment of information safety system, risk evaluation of system safety, etc. The symposium has significant meanings to the establishment of information safety system and improvement of information safety security system.

As the sponsor of the event, Liu Quan, vice-chairman of Yinchangcheng Company and the executive vice president of Beijing International Information Park, gave an opening address on behalf of Doctor Wang Tianyi, chairman of the Company. In his address, executive vice president Liu Quan indicated that in today's society, where the information system becomes more and more developed, the organization of such a forum is significantly important to the enhance the common sense of information safety and to promote China's information safety. Meanwhile, Liu Quan also introduced Beijing International Information Park's operation model of "one industry dominating and multiple park inter-acting". He also expressed his willingness to join hands with people in the same field and make continuous efforts for China's information safety development.
