Sheikh, vice chairman of Pakistan Planning Commission, and his party visited Beijing International Information Industry Base (BIIIB) accompanied by Liu Qun, general manager of Beijing International Information Park (BIIP) in November 10, 2006.

Decorated with colored flags on both sides, the Base is bathing in the splendid sunshine of the early winter. The banner saying "Welcome Pakistani guests to the Park" strikes one's eyes extraordinarily. When the team headed by Sheikh arrives at the Base, it is warmly welcome by employees from BIIP.

Liu Qun, the general manager, welcome Sheikh and his party to visit BIIP on behalf of all employees of BIIP and Wang Tianyin, president of China International Industry & Commerce Co. Ltd. Liu introduces the plan and construction situation of the Base to the guests. While the latter hears his introduction with interest and inquires issues about land approval, basic establishment construction, energy supply including water and power, park planning, construction cycle of the park, governmental preferential policies, requirements on production values for enterprises entered the park, and taxes , etc.

Afterwards, the guests visits Fusheng Mechanical Company (one of enterprises entered the park) accompanied by Liu Qun. In the workshops, Sheikh visits the production line of air compressor machine, and welcomes more Chinese companies to invest in Pakistan . At hearing that Fusheng has completed its work plant in only 100 days under the support of BIIIB, Sheikh is surprised and appraises that "You are extremely quick."

China International Industry & Commerce Co. Ltd. holds a banquet in a five-star hotel to welcome Sheikh for visiting the Company and BIIIB in November 12. Hu Deping, Secretary of the Party and Vice chairman of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, Xie Boyang, Vice Chairman of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, Pakistani guests including Sheikh, Vice Chairman, and Pakistan ambassador to China attend the banquet.

In the banquet, Liu Qun introduces the strategic objectives for BIIP to develop the park in detail: developing mode of one major industry, and interaction of multi-parks; park concepts of "economy, internalization, science & technology, culture," planning concept of "poetric sceneries spread here and there in the park"; vigorous support from government as well as international resources and financial institutes enjoyed by the company.

Liu Qun also introduces that China International Industry & Commerce Co. Ltd. is planning to build China Science & Industry Park in Pakistan to the guests. Hu Deping, vice chairman of All-China Association of Industry & Commerce, attaches great importance to the project, and hears many reports and puts forward with many constructive advices. Sheikh, vice chairman of Pakistan Planning Commission, and his party think highly of the achievements in BIIIB, and welcome China International Industry & Commerce Co. Ltd. to visit and invest in Pakistan . At an appointed time, the two parties will deeply discuss the construction of China Science & Industry Park . Wang Tianyi, president of China International Industry & Commerce Co. Ltd. accepts the invitation happily, and general manager Liu will lead the Chinese party to visit Pakistan in the near future.
