The 100 th Seminar of “Chang'an Forum”(the celebration meeting), hosed by the Chinese Economists 50 was held in Beijing State Guest Entrepreneurs' Club

On the afternoon of June 25, 2006, the 100 th dissertation of “Chang ' an Rostrum” sponsored by Chinese Economist 50 Forum and celebration were held at the State-Guest Entrepreneurs' Club.

Xu Shanda, member of the forum and deputy director-general of State Administration Taxation preside over the 100 th dissertation of “Chang ' an Rostrum”. People attending the forum include Wu Jinglian, Fan Gang, Yi Gang, members of Academic Committee of Forum; He Liping, Xu Shanda, Cao Zheng , members of the forum; Duan Yongji, convener of the forum enterprisers' council; Lin Rongqiang, secretary-general of the forum enterprisers' council. In addition, specially invited honorable guests and audience representatives were invited to attend the forum. 40 media reporters from central China and other provinces and cities covered the forum. The forum is also lively broadcasted in Sina.com and in finance and economics column of NetEase. The topic of the 100 th dissertation of “Chang ' an Rostrum” is “Problems about income distribution”. At 4 pm, Xu Shanda proclaimed the opening of the forum.

Fan Gang, member of Academic Committee of Forum and director of National Economic Research Institute, China Reform Foundation, firstly made a speech for the forum. He introduced the growth process of “Chang ' an Rostrum” and Chinese Economists 50 Forum and proclaimed the forum name was changed to “Chang ' an Rostrum” from the 100 th .

Chen Yongru, audience representative and director-general of Bureau of Fair Trade for Imports and Exports, Ministry of Commerce, Guo Yonggang, media representative and reporter of China Youth Daily, successively made speeches. They reviewed the feeling and experience from listening to the dissertations in “Chang ' an Rostrum” and offered a few ideas to improve and organize the academic activities of “Chang ' an Rostrum”.

Duan Yongji, convener of the forum enterprisers' council and president of Stone Group Corporation, made a speech. He thought that “Chang ' an Rostrum” played an important role in the development of Chinese economy and enterprises as a higher academic platform of developing research and communication. Members of the forum enterprises' council will try their best to support its construction and development and hope the “Chang ' an Rostrum” become better and better.

Zou Dongtao, contributor for publishing the forum series and chief editor of Social Sciences Academic Press (China), adequately affirmed the academic research results and force of “Chang ' an Rostrum” and Chinese Economists 50 Forum in his speech. He said that the press will continuously cooperate with the forum and do their contribution to publish the forum series and enrich the Chinese economic theory library.

Wu Jinglian, member of Academic Committee of Forum and researcher of Development Research Center of State Council P.R. China, presented “Chang ' an Rostrum the first series” (members of Chinese Economists 50 Forum, collected works of dissertation written by specially invited experts and scholars in recent two years) published by the forum and Social Sciences Academic Press (China) to audience and media representatives.

After short and ceremonious celebration, Xu Shanda proclaimed the beginning of the 100 th dissertation of “Chang ' an Rostrum”.
